The majority of STI’s can be treated with medication and those that cannot be cured can be managed. The sooner STI are treated the less long term damage will be caused. It is also possible to have more than one type of STI at one time.

If you're worried you may be at risk the best time to do this is 2 weeks after you have put yourself at risk (this is the time in which most infections can be detected).
